Yes I am quite a ghazal fan....
Word - muztarb (moo -z- thar b)
Meaning - Torture, high sense of discomfort, pain etc etc
Context :
Asar un par zara bhi nahin hota
Ranj raahat nahin hota
Kyun sune woh arz-muztarb momin
sanam aakhir khuda nahin hota
Translation (COME ON! u didnt think i would be that cruel didja? something this beautiful needs translation it does! )
It makes no difference to them (her in this case)
Pain can never be pleasure
Why should she listen to ur cry of torture oh momin? (momin name of a guy)
After all, lover is not God
Wah wah Momin sir(ghazal author) and Hariharan sir !!!

Its a ghazal from a Hariharan album called Visaal... I liked it a lot too... Classically rich and lyrically mindblowing !
