Que sera sera!

In life, somehow, what has to happen will happen! And you just read ur lines and act accordingly and flow with it...Call it a 'script already written', 'fate' or anything u wish, but it is true...Cos no matter how hard you close your eyes and pray for God to listen to you, to make the pain go away soon...This emotion in me is elegantly captured in Robbie Williams' song 'Feel'

I sit and talk to God and He just laughs at my plans (I apologise for the blasphemy on robbie's behalf!)

here is a nice lil post by ktk about pain...This will clearly illustrate my next point about key events in life which make u press the pause button and write such posts...A perusal of the above mentioned link (and its comments too! ) can only enlighten ppl!

Yeah so key events...They can only make u wonder in general and make u think, but can't make u learn!! Here's the nub of my monologue...Learn from your mistakes!? Not too sure that works mister/miss whoeever coined that phrase...

And while we are on pain, different ppl, I see, have different mechanisms of dealing with it...Silence, blogs, bite ur teeth and other such optimistic and "brave" medothologies, Denial, Avoidance...I have also found that shuddering/sighing and ejecting liquids from the body is also an effective way!

Err um...Drifting here!!

Notable notes!
1. You don't have much control over ur life...What has to happen will happen...You mite be wise enough to "listen" to some ppl's words and "think"
2. Pain...Karan's post is just too good! Nothin to add...
3. You relished typing all this crap cos u and only U know tat it ain't exactly crap...noooooo I don't think so...

Good night and good luck and Hallelujah!

Humne ni bhi, tere har ek gham ko, gale se lagaaya hai na?? :)

A double ton

Shilpa and I went to Kodak Whizz last evening
There, a woman was getting the following words engraved(to be read as "printed") on some thing for somebody :

"Inspirational Genious"

Us geniuses spotted the syntax error and pointed it out to her...That woman kept saying "Thanks a ton!" ... I didn't get it the first two times at awl...

Today was gonna be the day
but they'll never throw it back to you
By now you should've somehow
realised what you've gotta do

(On a slightly different topic)
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do, about you now
(God, please make this stop!)

Things learnt today :

1. The ability to analyze/criticize a situation wrt urself wanes as soon as the two ppl inside you are at war with each other; One who thinks you were wrong all the way and the other who stands up for you and says u did what you could

2. One moccachillo can be consumed for upto an hour, provided there are suitable songs running in the background

3. There are different techniques to console/cheer up a person : Inspirational words not adhered to by the speaker herself, Silence (typically u lo :) ) and self sacrifice! The last one is still moving inside me with its profound impact! I don't like it at all though...Never considered it a worthy way

4. At 11.37 pm, in the dead calm of the night, some songs really really hit you! Thanks to all the ppl who contributed to me being associated with those songs!

5. The esoteric practice of saying "cheers" when drinkin somethin comes to us from Pirates. Apparently, to guard against their fellow comrades poisoning them, a loud and hard clash of wooden/steel mugs of alcohol was common practice to ensure that the alcohol of the clashers mixed by spilling into each other's mugs (Courtesy : National Girish Channel, Vishwajeet)

200 posts old my blog is
Another seemingly significant number with coupla zeros in it

Road Trip

Got a solid beating at around 11.30 am this saturday morning...
The barber beat my head to death, after pouring an ample amount of navratna cool tel on my scalp...I felt, at one point, that I wouldn't survive the ordeal...

The aftermath was surprisingly pleasing...I floated back home, all ethereal...But not before Girz had pinged me abt a random, unplanned bike trip in the outskirts of the city without any purpose...

If any of Girz's close relatives are reading this, all hell should be breaking loose riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight abt now...

My gaadi needed some refreshments (air, fuel checks)...So did his...After doing the needful, we discussed some elementary stuff like how to catch the attention of the other (three long honks), scheduled stops (tender coconut water!! Oh boy do they rock or what?!?!) and a rough roadmap of our jarnee (none)

And we brace ourselves and control our excitement and set off! Only to find an elneer place some ten feet away from the place we started...'Ah' we both exclaimed and had our first elneers...Off we were towards outer ring road then!

Capable and mean machines that we have, in almost no time we had reached innovative multiplex. Carried on and reached our beloved new campus. Shiny! Okie U turn and back on outer ring road which is like a huge boa constrictor, winding its way thru the city! Roughly Girz, I and Zidane (my shirt) 'Discover'ed (just to introduce my bike's name...to be read as 'covered') the following places :

1. Banaswadi
2. Hebbal
3. Nagawara (No no we didn't reach japan)
4. Jalahalli
5. Yeshwantpur

Whatsay?!!? 'Definitely Male' huh??!?! (there i go again...This is something for girz' bike thats all pls ignore sorry)

Went to salaam-e-ishq...Realised the following :

Pyaar
Prema/Preethi
Love
Kaadhal
Ishq
Amour
Amore
....

All of the above, I dislike...A lot...The concept and everything associated with it...

I sit and talk to God
And he just laughs at my plans....
