You just sit there on stage, with people u like and people who have hurt you and people who might be strangers....
You are clearly made aware of what you are supposed to do....You will also find yourself at different places playing different roles, sometimes without a guitar, in front of a piano, with a chika chika in ur hand (The instrument which makes "chick chick" sound)...
And you are supposed to do your bit and focus on it only... Singing an F# note ONLY is ur job for next 10 seconds...Why cant you just do that?!
Your neighbor's responsible for strumming her Em chord and singing the lead...Another is doing his chorus part... Don't bother about them....
Eventually, you would like to create a nice looking piece... And if the harmony is lacking, its only shown quite glaringly... Its just one big rehearsal I guess...Sometimes, it comes out nice and u feel high... Sometimes, the dissonance is in ur face...
(Note to self : Are you aware that you're still talking?!)
